Miniature Pinschers

Perth City

This is a unique small dog breed often called a “miniature Doberman.” They are a unique breed in their own right. This German native is a loving, active little dog. They actually date back further than the Doberman. With ancestry that includes the German Pinscher this was a breed that was originally used to kill rats in the stables. At some point it is thought the Italian Greyhound might have been added in to get the higher stepping action.

Everything You Need to Know About Perth

August 11th, 2010

Merely saying that Perth is the most naturally beautiful city in Australia would be a gross understatement. You have to be there to savor the unparalleled and breathe taking natural beauty which will blow your mind away. Even Captain James Sterling who founded this city, had occasion to make this statement and it was perhaps this scenic splendor which arrested his gaze.

Compared to other ancient cities of the world boasting of a rich historic past, Perth seems to

Perth Night Skyline, Western Australia

Western Australia is remote. Perth, the capital of WA is the most remote capital city in the world. It is a very clean and urbane city with great nightlife and fine dining. Freemantle is just South of Perth. It is a nifty little seaside town with a 19th century feel. There is an interesting marketplace there as well as an old prison and an Aussie Football Field. The 1980 America’s Cup Race was held out of the Freemantle Yatch Club-a

Why penguins live in such cold temperatures

July 31st, 2010

Penguins don’t all live in cold temperatures, and so this topic question makes no sense. I live in South Australia, and there are many penguins here, yet we consider 10 Deg C (50 deg F) to be absolutely freezing! In fact, when it gets below 20 Deg C (68 Deg F), people start to complain.

The Little Blue, or Fairy Penguin lives in Australia and New Zealand, neither of which could be said to have really cold temperatures. The distribution

Autumn Glory - River Tay Reflections - Perth Scotland

Arrived v early this morning in Perth and spent an hour or so at the airport sorting out some accomodation and a bus into town. Are staying at Emperor’s Crown hostel which is new and pretty nice – great location a few mins away from the metropolis that is Perth, Australia.

After a nap for a few hours we went for a wander using the free city bus around town and sat overlooking the Swan River in the sunshine, about 20

There, pictured on the stamps when the islands were a colony of Great Britain were pictures of the kings and queen of England in the
